WHAT NEXT????
the need for information...
After the initial shock of hearing the news, Sergio, his wife Kelly, his family & friends rallied around him to find out what they can do to help & support him & to keep him healthy & happy for as long as possible.
Lots of help came from everywhere in the form of any information that people would find to help him learn about ALS. It's been a continuous search for help, starting with the remarkable help on the computer. The entire family & many of his friends scoured websites for information & found a ton of it.

The book "Eric Is Winning" was the first book to arrive in the mail.

After that came "Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About” by Kevin Trudeau.
And then, all types of antioxidant cookbooks and many other such books were received in the mail.
And of course, lots of prayers from people all over have been a huge comfort. Sergio immediately adopted the life attitude to fight the deadly disease every step of the way.
“NEVER, NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP!”
A few weeks later, Sergio went to UCI to meet with Dr. Molsafar and his staff for a second opinion but did not receive the hope we were all praying for. The doctors there confirmed the awful news.
