It's been a a busy time at the DeLuca home these last few months...............

Alyssa Graduates!
It was a hot June day but that wasn't going to stop Sergio from seeing Alyssa graduate from Santiago High School (in Corona, CA). Even though getting around isn't easy for Sergio these days and especially when there are a lot of people to maneuver around, but with the help of Kelly and Frankie, Sergio was there for his little girl.

Watch out World- Frankie got a license to drive!
Every 16 year old boy looks forward to the day that he
gets his driver's license and that day came for Frankie this summer.
With
both
kids driving these days, transportation needs are a bit easier
to deal with. Both kids can get Sergio to
and from places which is a big help for Kelly (who was the only driver
in the house a while back). Frankie is now driving his dad's old work
truck.

Sergio is a special guest at a wedding that he prompted from the beginning
A few summers ago, Dina (his niece) was dating Brandon. Brandon was ready to propose to Dina to marry him but wanted to do it in a very special way so he asked Sergio to play "matchmaker" and help by typing out
"Dina, will you marry Brandon?" on his Dynovox (a talking machine).

Well, on August 15th, 09 Dina and Brandon got married
and Sergio was there to be a part of it all. It was a special day for
all and extra special for Dina by having her uncle there to share
in her happiness.
Frankie and Alyssa were proud to be in the wedding and
looked terrific all dressed up.
Most people know that Sergio is a pretty casually dressing type of guy
and t-shirts and jeans is his style. But every once in a while, and only
when the occasion calls for it, Sergio breaks from that code and gets a
little bit more dressed up. But moving his arms in
and
out of some shirts can be difficult, so Sergio asked his sis, Sonia, to
alter a button down shirt so that getting
in and out would not be so hard. Sergio came up with the idea to split
the back to the collar and then apply velcro to close.
This was exactly what was needed for him. Sergio
looked very handsome all dressed up in his buttoned down shirt. There
are plans to alter a few more of them.
