Keep on fighting with all you got!!!!
Sergio's brother in law, Ken, wanted to help him but in a different way. Ken and business his partner, Brad Thayer, offered Sergio and his family the use of their ocean front condo in Oahu, Hawaii for a couple of weeks vacation.

The trouble was that Sergio is not fond of flying. But he was excited to take the family to Hawaii and get away from it all for just a few weeks so he "sucked it up" and got on the plane and before he knew it, they landed in Honolulu. While there, Sergio and family enjoyed the sights, (North Shore is their favorite!), heard a Beach Boy concert for free, played in the ocean and socked up the sun. But most of all- they got the chance to put the world and all the medical stuff behind them for just a few weeks.

On July 15th, 06. Ken Evans (Sergio's best friend since 2nd grade) and his wife, Shannon, along with Sergio's sis, Sonia, and her husband, Ken, hosted a big private fundraiser for Sergio to help raise funds for needed equipment and treatments that Medicare and insurance does not cover but Sergio and his "camp" (all of us who believe that he is doing what it takes to fight this ugly disease) need.

Because of all the wonderful and generous people who care so very much for Sergio and wanted so much to help him in his fight- Sergio was able to purchase a home hyperbaric chamber. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!

Sergio continued to do all that it takes to stay as healthy as possible for the next few months:
-
eating extra health- mostly organic foods.
-
taking the necessary 40 pills of nutrients and supplements needed for his body.
-
going to Diane, the nutritionist, having his blood checked and regiment altered just for him.
-
going to Mr. Paek, the acupuncturist, twice weekly to keep his body balanced and working at it's best.
-
spending one to two hours a day up to five days a week in his home hyperbaric chamber to help his cells except all the nutrients he intakes.
-
taking his Glutathione nose spray daily.
-
keeping up with his visits with Sharon.
-
staying active coaching Alyssa's soccer team and helping out with Frankie's team whenever possible- Sometimes from his wheelchair.
-
But most of all- keeping good thoughts, knowing that people are praying for him and thinking of him and trying to keep up a sense of humor that is so important!

During this time, Sergio was lucky enough to get a very special electronic wheelchair to help him get around. This wheelchair is so fast that it is sometimes hard to keep up with him once his takes it up to full throttle speed. This wheelchair makes it so much easier for Sergio to get to and from the car and the soccer fields.

Thank you to Sergio's niece, Dina, for helping by connecting him with Stacy Julian who managed to obtain this special set of wheels just for Sergio.

Thanks you go out to Kevin Pace- old "BLA" pal, who was able to make Sergio's ride a little easier by first installing the electronic hitch to his truck. And a big thank you to Chuck Catero, General Manager of Fritts Ford in Riverside, CA for all his help in installing a special electronic ignition devise on the truck too (allowing him to start it without much effort- Yes, Sergio continues driving through December 06).

Diane Wendell (nutritionist) suggested that Sergio get a Mineral Lamp. This lamp looks just like a regular floor spot lamp but it has a special mineral plate attachment which helps the body help heal itself. This is a home devise. Diane has had so much luck with her patients who have one- helping people with everything from sore muscles to organs not working properly to so much more. I know it sound strange and it did to Sergio too when he first heard of it but he himself has found it to work. There is too much information about this lamp to put down here but you really need to contact Diane about it. She can give you all the information you want.

Diane also received a new machine for her office which helps the medical care giver give a more actuate diagnoses of what is really going on in the patient's body. This new "Bio-Meridians" machine is fascinating and Sergio was one of the first to try it out. For more information-
